We (Sean, Stef, and I) were going to move. We had seen several houses asking for much less in rent in comparison to our College Park home.

After many CL false posts and several days of searching I gave up. Our landlord was kind enough to reduce our rent so we are saving money.

I had the larger room, my own bathroom and my own office area so I was paying more in rent. BUT … I want to save more money and Stef wants more space so we are swapping rooms!

The decision now is how should I decorate my new room? I loved the teal I chose for the back room but without all the white beadboard I think it would be to overwhelming. I do want to stay in the blue family because it is soothing.

I am thinking something similar to the photo above where only one wall is a lot of color and the other are white with lines of the same color. I also like the different shades but same color.

I’m not making the move across the house until end of July / beginning of August but I want to be prepared this time. I want to have all the pictures, paint, bedding, etc picked out and ready to go. That way when I have my painting party on a Friday night I will have room finished by Sunday evening.

PS, everyone is invited to the painting party. Beer + paint = fun.
