So far my weeks @ Wesh have included writing scripts and learning as much as possible about the production of the sunrise show. This Friday I get to add on an extra learning experience that, like a true nerd, am thrilled about.
I get to go out with a reporter in the field to do live coverage. We are covering HHN Friday a.m. My experience with reporting for print is decent but limited when it comes to t.v. news. My producer, John, said I could take Thursday off but I don’t want to miss anything. Plus, Fridays I have almost nothing to do.
Added bonus - I don’t have to go in at 2 a.m. but instead 3:30 a.m.!!
I know, I know … SO much extra sleep.
