Hello! My name is Jerriann and like that giant heading at the top says, I love journalism. I believe that good journalism has the power to inform people and, at its best, help them understand the other 7 billion individuals on the planet.
I love other things, too, like traveling, reading and eating delicious food.

The Society of Professional Journalists is a great organization to be a part of if you are student, teacher, professional or citizen journalist.
I became a member prior to starting classes at UCF and attended a few conferences. All members of the organization, from the national to the local level, are a pleasure to be around.
Register for the Spring 2010 conference in Orlando by this Sunday! If you are looking to network with people looking to hire journalists you should definitely attend this event.
