My mom is so cute. She sends me freelance links all the time. I am sure she has no idea what MMA is though.

Twitter seems to be the popular tool in the newsroom right now so I made mine public again. I have gone between public and private in an attempt to hide some of my personal life from the internet. I skimmed through my twitter though and it doesn’t look I post anything, anywhere, that is terribly exciting or controversial.Anyway, if you know anyone in SGA @ UCF please have them call or email me ASAP.

What publication do you write for?

Just the Central Florida Future (UCF’s paper) for right now. They are really nice and really organized though. They put out a paper twice a week during the summer and three times a week during the regular school year. You should def. right some stuff for them! They have SO many open articles.

How would I go about doing that? Do they have topics that they’re looking for, or should I come up with something on my own and hope they like it?

Both! Send me a blank email to me@jerriann.net and I will forward you all of the contact info and the open stories for the next week or so. Meetings are Tuesday @ 5:30 p.m. Also, Virginia … I follow her tumblr and she follows mine … she is one of the editors so you can contact her also.

Hi Jerriann,
I hope all is well.
I wanted to let you know that I just received the copy of the paper you sent. The article looks great! Thanks so much for getting that to us so quickly. We greatly appreciate it!

-Source from a recent article I wrote.

I keep expecting an angry email from one of the people I interviewed but so far so good.
